GARDEN CENTRE OPENING HOURS: MON – SUNDAY 9am-5pm including Bank Holidays
Stamford Garden Centre was originally a farm diversification into horticulture by the Lamb family in 1984 and they have continued to run the business for over 25 years. Based on their farm it has always been known for the quality of its products, its friendly customer service and its beautiful rural setting. Now under the ownership of the son, James Lamb, the garden centre is being developed to improve its services and products while maintaining its original qualities. With the development of the restaurant and Farm Shop & butchery, Stamford Garden Centre is a farm diversification which aims to help the development of other farms and growers in the area by championing local produce and suppliers.
Our new Orangery is now open – this light and cosy space provides a smart new place to indulge in our homemade lunches and evening dining club. It also allows us to offer a great venue for private parties – please ask us about reserving the Orangery for your party.
We have planted an on-site allotment which provides fresh home-grown fruit, vegetables & herbs for our Kitchen and Farm Shop and to provide a tool for young people to learn about food and seasonality.
The Garden Kitchen was introduced in 2006 and, with its team of 3 chefs, has established a strong reputation for its fresh, homemade food and its use of local suppliers and seasonal ingredients. Homemade breakfasts, lunches, desserts and cakes are all available seven days a week. Also see our section on Evening Dining detailing our fine dining events held on the first Friday of each month.
The Garden Kitchen is a member of the Tastes of Lincolnshire and the Slow Food Movement.
The Garden Farm Shop has been open since 2009. It includes a busy butchery featuring hundreds of local and seasonal products, which showcase the variety and quality of local farmers. It also features homemade cakes, pies and meals made in the Garden Kitchen. And we are multi-award winning!
The Garden Store is now open: a new building offering everyday garden essentials as well as inspiring gifts in a new gift shop area.
